Grove Building Solutions Limited is committed to all aspects of Health & Safety and constantly monitors and advises on all aspects of new legislation and good working practices. The company has a comprehensive Health and Safety Policy and has an excellent track record regarding safety on sites.
We understand that health & safety is a pivotal and integral part of our performance and to this end, we employ a strategy of training and development, risk assessment and preparation, behavioural change, and continuous improvement, to all our staff in a collaborative and supportive manner.

CSR is an essential part of our business culture. As an employer, we believe that acting responsibly is fundamental to our future success, as well as that of the communities in which we work.
To us, CSR means managing our economic, social and environmental duties for the benefit of our personnel and clients. This has a significantly positive impact on wider communities and lays firm foundations for future generations.
We are committed to adopting best practice in every part of our business. We constantly seek to add value by developing strong relationships with customers and supply partners, investing in training and development, prioritising health, safety and environmental management and engaging with local communities. All of our eligible sites are registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
Grove Building Solutions Ltd is ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 Registered for quality, works to stringent procedures which aids to ensure customer satisfaction. We aim to work in partnership with our commercial clients adding value to projects. A testament to the quality of our delivery is demonstrated and rewarded through repeat orders from our clients, some of whom have employed our services for over 10 years.
All employees are CSCS compliant with the company being CHAS, Safe Contractor, Considerate Contractor and all our sites are inspected by our H & S Manager.

Grove has extensive experience of preparing and managing Construction Stage Health & Safety Plans, often in sensitive environments (Hospitals, Schools, Care Homes, etc.)
We use the Considerate Constructor Scheme on our sites.
We communicate and consult with our workforce in the following ways:
- All employees are CSCS Safety aware.
- All have Asbestos Awareness training.
- All receive site specific - Safety Induction and Equality & Diversity Induction.
- All receive Toolbox talks.
- Memos are regularly issued to the workforce as a reminder of important or topical safety issues.
- First-aiders are identified and communicated on each site
- Safety signage is put in place by our Liaison and Site Management and monitored by Safety and Considerate Constructor inspection.
- There is a Safety Notice Board on each site, which is also monitored.
- Safety consciousness is encouraged at all levels, with suggestion boxes on sites.
Written Risk Assessments and Method Statements are communicated to the workforce verbally and methods are reviewed at site level with the operatives to 'fine-tune' implementation.
We fully understand the need for the timely completion of any project. Working within both occupied and unoccupied premises, we are well aware of the stringent measures required to ensure these environments are controlled effectively whilst ensuring project programme is maintained. In fact, in the Health Sector our work has seen us change programmes and even cease work during critical patient care and treatment, ensuring the hospital daily functions take the utmost priority
